Iyle: Lara Flynn Boyle would make a good Morgan LaFey. Also, there is this show called "Moonlight", and the guy who plays Mick St. John could be a excellent Lord Sumner.

fire_storm: I think that I should play Max. Helena Bonham Carter should play Morgen LeFay. I know some people will hate me for this but some of your picks are too old . . . Emma Watson is 18. Brad Pitt is even older. And plus, don't the writers want new faces for the kids. Emma Watson is not new.
Author's Note: The idea of fresh faces that aren't connected to other properties is very intriguing, but there is also a side of the ledger that shows actors and actresses with big star power help sell the movie. Utimately, though, we would like to go with fresh faces. Who knows . . . you just might get the shot!

Zack: Here are some directors that you could use to make a movie: Peter Jackson, Micheal Moore, David Lynch, Steven Soderbergh, David Cronenberg.
Author's Note: Wow. Peter Jackson. Just to be linked to the Lord of the Rings movie in a small way would be amazing. Personally though, we're pulling for Christopher Nolan (Batman Begins). But those Jason Bourne movies were amazing, so maybe Paul Greengrass would be a good fit. Who knows, maybe Michael Moore could even play The Bishop from Book 2: The Rise of the Black Wolf.

Hannah: Hi! I think for the Grey Griffins movie, for Max, Ernie Natalia, and Harley, you should have auditions to get some new talent. And the auditions should be held in Maryland. You could travel around to different counties and towns for some of the auditions because the person perfect for the part could be in a small county that you wouldn't think to look. I'm a big fan of the books so like any fan you want the books to be really magical and as close as possible in detail so that's just another thing to think about. If you do decide to have auditions for the Grey Griffins in Maryland, please send me the information about it like where and when...

Nainoa: For a director, I would suggest either Mel Gibson or Peter Jackson. Also maybe Mel Gibson could act as Logan, Michael Cain could play Iver, and Johnny Depp as Vlad Dracula.

Why is it that some fantasy movies are just terrible? Worse than movies made for television? But others, like The Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and The Water Horse (even The Bridge to Terabithia) are amazing? I have a feeling Spiderwick is going to be right up there. Then again, with Tony DiTerlizzi's art, how could you go wrong?

Jason Done (he played Mordred in Merlin) should play Oberon.. even though it's just a little part in the first book. Lena Headley should play Morgan.
