Haley M.:
My Bounder Faerie would be a Gryphon named Palarius. Gryphons are known for hiding or guarding a treasure. In this case, if a person was known as great royalty or if they were valuable, the gryphon would be protection the person as its treasure. And since this is my Bounder Faerie, the gryphon would be protecting me. Palrius is a huge gryphon and is good for flying me places I need to be and fighting off the bad people/creatures. He is a good and loyal creature that would die for me like all other Bounder Faeries. But Palarius is special in a way that none of the rest are.
Author's Note:
Gryphons are magnificent beasts, and Palarius sounds particularly magnificent.
Name: Christina C.
My Bounder Faerie is named Flyer, and likes to fly.
Author's Note:
Flying would be a lot of fun.
Name: Jesse M.
I would pick a dragon as my Bounder Faerie, who is all pink, with black eyes, horns, and a tail. It would be nice, flirtatious, beautiful, and loyal.
Author's Note:
Though we've not met a pink dragon before, your's sound pretty cool.
Name: Zack M.
My Bounder Faerie wouild be a Raven named Maiz, with all black and gold wings, a gold beak, glowing golden eyes, and it would be mean and vicious.
Author's Note:
Very cool You are the first to have chosen a Raven.
Name: Eli O.
If I could choose a Bounder Faerie, it would definitely be a Apriggan. Spriggans are cool and very, very helpful. I mean, Sprig has helped Max plenty of times before. Plus who wouldn?t want a pal with the ability to shape-shift. If needed Sprig would be able to morph into a giant eagle or something of the sort to save Max or provide a quick escape. A spriggan with the fur like a deep red mixed with a lightish brown would be really awesome. And I think that a really cool name for a spriggan would be Spex. With the scales and spikes on it?s tail (if the color of the tail may vary) to be a light green for the scales and the spikes a deep dark red almost like a fire dragon?s scales. I would like Spex to be a smart, male spriggan who is very active and strong. He would be very helpful in a fight but would think over his next attack very carefully while blocking and learning his opponents? strategy then strike on his enemy?s weak side. He is fairly fast in his body and his mind and can do anything a calculator can do three times faster. And I think that would be a very cool, very helpful bounder faerie.
Author's Note:
We think Mr.s Ackerman-Hedberg and Zuni Elementary rock, too! Thanks, Eli. Great entry!

PICTURED: Spriggan drawn by Liam T.
Name: Liam T.
My Bounder Faerie would be a Spriggan named Jumper, who is mischievous but loyal. He's stolen from Oberon himself. He has dark green eyes, light brown fur that is spiky, and a spot of white on his forehead.
Author's Note:
Jumper is a great name for a Spriggan!
Name: Matthew L.
For a Bounder Faerie, I would want a small Frost Dragon. His name would be Glacker.
He could breathe freezing vapor, and fly up to 20 feet high. Also, he is able to speak in a tounge that only I can understand.
Author's Note:
The idea of a secret language between you and your Bounder Faerie is simply genius. Nice work!
Name: Zack K.
My Bounder Faerie wouild be a Gargoyle named Galladin, a warrior of King Arthur. Galladin wears full body armor made of steel. Not needing a helmet, his skull is harder than diamond. Using the sword Excalibur, passed down from king Arthur himself, and a half-ton metal shield. Galladin won't harm anything that doesn't harm him.
Author's Note:
Gargoyles are a perfect choice. You simply can't go wrong.
Name: Alexis S.
My Bounder Faerie would be Albie the Brownie. It would have the ability to fly, be camoflauged, talk to other faeries, and shapeshift. Albie would usually look like a cat with very shaggy, brown fur. He has green eyes, and a big pink beak. It has green feathered paws with long talons. It only eats plants, but will attack any creature that gets near his human.
Author's Note:
The name Albie is a fantastic one!
Name: Adam W.
I would pick a Bounder Faerie named Storm that would be a Water Raven. Storm has a white streak running down the small of her back. She has two beady black eyes, she has two red-tipped wings, and her beak is pearly white. She is mischievous, but is always there when you need her. Storm is caring, stubborn, and loyal. Known powers: can change the weather from rain to snow. Can work in water elements to change the waves.
Author's Note:
Awesome. Never thought of a Water Raven. That's pretty darn cool!

PICTURED: Azka the Storm Dragon drawn by Melissa A.
Name: Melissa A.
My Bounder Faerie would be a Storm Dragon named Azka.
Author's Note:
Storm Dragons are way cool!
Name: Lois S.
My Bounder Faerie would be a Shadow because even though in the Grey Griffins book they were bad, doesn't mean there can't be good ones. It would be MY shadow but a good one, and it would be a girl. It's name would be Liliana because I think it is a pretty name and it rhymes with Oberon's wife . . . It looks like my shape on the outside, dark on color It would love to learn and read, and since it's my shadow it can follow me to school. It is very loving and caring, and don't worry, you can trust it if you have any secrets.
Author's Note:
Creepy and cool!
Name: Spencer R.
My bounder's name is Will, and he is a Fireball Pixie. He looks like a regular pixie, he is very protective of me, he loves spicy and minty candies, and is always up for a challenge. He spends most of his time following me and stuffing his face with food. He has a low, punk-style English accent.
Author's Note:
Very nice, Spencer.
Name: Mallorey R.
My Bounder Faerie is a Pegasus. It's black but it's mane, tail, and eyes are white. It has a little birthmark near it's tail. It can fly. It doesn't have a name yet.
Author's Note:
Very exotic, and very beautiful.
Name: Christian M.
I would like my Bounder Faerie to be a dragon named Drake. He is a meduim sized Frost Dragon with deep emerald eyes, silvery spines that run across he back, and a bluish-white body. He strikes fear into the hearts of even the bravest of men. he is wize and kind, but tough, strong, and vicious when his bounded human is threated.
Author's Note:
Kind but feroicous when necessary Bounders are the greatest Bounders of all!

PICTURED: Frost Dragon as sent in by Lucas A.
Name: Lucas A.
My Bounder Faerie would be a Frost Dragon with the power to freeze its enemies.
Author's Note:
Frost Dragons are majestic beasts, indeed. And if Vlad keeps one, why not us?
Name: Bennett A.
I think that a Spriggan would be really cool, because it could shapeshift into a leopard, tiger, griffin, dragon, and all magic creatures! It could bring me to other places, too! I would name her Blaze. A Spriggan is the most like me, small, but dangerous too! I think we could have some great times together!!!
Author's Note:
Blaze sounds pretty amazing!
Name: Chance B.
Spitfire is my Imp Bounder Faerie. Spitfire takes the life of the living and collects them for his own life if he does not get the life of the living he will died. Spitfire looks like a small imp but he becomes huge when he collects the lifes he cares for only the died.
Author's Note: Great name!
Name: Liam E.
My Bounder Faerie is a Spriggan named Jaget. Jaget likes to joke around but is also very serious when he needs to be and fights when is needed and is very nice. Hey has a love to play, he try?s not make mistakes and portal to places at bad times. He tries not too be emotional and ambitious and is always trying to be helpful.
Author's Note: Nice drawing!
Name: Spencer H.
My Bounder Faerie is of the species of Gargoyle and specifically called a Narf Gargoyle.
To describe its form it has a snout similar to that of an alligator however the underside of the snout makes a half circle and creates a "scoop." It has razor sharp teeth, which its canines can be seen coming out of its mouth. Its head is similar to that of a human, however it has two horns on both side of its head pointing forward. It has two eyes but very poor sight and mostly relies on its hearing to guide it. It does not have a nose but instead two slits through which it breathes. It has pointed ears like an elf and uses echo-location to get around. Its body is plump and it has two small wings (similar to those of a bat) that keep it floating in the air. It has two legs that are exactly like a horse's but instead of hoofs it has a set of three razor sharp talons on each foot. It usually hover between 2 feet and 2 feet and 6 inches and grows to be a maximum of 3 feet tall. It NEVER touches ground with its feet because if it does so it will briefly burst into flame and explode. (This has the exception of roof tops, walls, and water surfaces. They are naturally aggressive and territorial, however they can be raised otherwise. They live near bodies of water where their main food, fish, can be found (but they will also settle for humans or cattle as a midnight snack). Narf gargoyles are most commonly found in red or blue but rarely they can be found in yellow.
Author's Note:
Incredibly inventive, Spencer. Thanks!

PICTURED: Unicorn as drawn by J.S. Lewis
Name: Lelynn D.
My Bounder Faerie would be a unicorn named Moon Shine. Moon Shine is a bright white color with a purple mane and tail. She is very sweet if treated with respect, but can be stubborn and mean if you are mean to her. Moon Shine also loves to play around when allowed to. Moon Shine has the power to heal her human bounder and to paralyze enemies.
Author's Note:
A beautiful choice.
Name: Brandi H.
My Bounder Faerie would be a Frost Dragon named Artemis. It's mysterios and quiet. And only comes out at night. It's pure white but shines like moonlight under the night sky. It only responds to me and is extremly protective. Her eyes would be like sparkling saphires and its voice in a tone so calming and crystal clear. Her scales would be like a cold heartache, freezing you to the bone. A single look sends chills down your spine. Frost would cover her body like an old warming blanket. Large feathery wings would lay at her side. The large spikes going down her spine looked like icicles. Her large feet would have black sinister toenails curved perfectly at the end of her feet. She'd have large graceful footsteps with every step. Her large tail would curve around her body with a huge spiked club at the end as hard as ice. She would have a lovely curved face but wouldn't blow fire. But instead extremely cold air. So cold that it frosted everything in it's path. She looked frightening and gentle all at the same time. You could only tell if she was angry if her pupils grew in a vertical line almost like cat eyes. She would be invisible in the snow and could sense every vibration so she could never be snuck up on. She always looked sad and depressed. But in a way glad to be in the world at all.
Author's Note:
Be wary. Dragons are a tricky, powerful lot.
Name: Dylan
If I had to choose a faerie to be bound to it would be a Fireball Pixie named Shift. It would be called that becouse it moves so fast it seems to simply shift from one place to another. Reasons for choosing it are that in survival fire is very important and it can controll fire. Also it is so small that you can hide it easily and if someone does see it it will usually be moving so fast that it would be discarded as nothing. If I could choose personality I would say it likes adventure, cares for its few friends, and enjoys reading anything that it can without it catching on fire. It would be smart but have a rash personality that would land it in trouble a lot.
Author's Note:
Small and mighty. Can't go wrong there!
Name: Gurpreet S.
My Bounder Faerie would be a fiery-spirited dragon with green or black or red spines and jointed wings, and deep reddish scales And it would be invincible just like Malice Striker.
Author's Note:
Invincibility is a nice trait in a Bounder Faeirie, that's for sure.
Name: kingofassasinz
I would like my Bounder Faeire to be a Frost Dragon, Sand Dragon, or maybe a Griffin, and its name would be Oberon
Author's Note:
Oberon, huh? He's powerufl enough as it is, but in the body of dragon? Wow. Look out!

PICTURED: Fireball Pixie drawn by Emily L.
Name: Emily L.
My Bounder Faerie's name is Paige, and she is a Fireball Pixie. Her power allows her to hurl fire.
Author's Note:
Your drawing of Paige is remarkable. Very nicely done!
Name: Ash
I would pick a Doppelganger because they can shape shift into anything and use their powers, too! It would also be great to use on my sister. Whoohoo!
Author's Note:
Scary, but nice thinking!
Name: Cherie H.
Rouget, a Fireball Pixie, lives up to her name. Her favorite color is red and her favorite element if fire, like most of her species. She has an attitude to match her element. She often get's her way, because of a rather persuasive manner. She won't take orders but she will answer to a request, sometimes. Her fiery nature keeps me on my toes and she has six semi-wings four of which of red dots that absorb fire attacks. She has long deep red hair and burning red eyes that can capture any person's soul, figuratively of course. She has a tall, long and slender build.
Author's Note:
What a beautiful picture!
Name: Ben S.
I would have a Frost Dragon named Moe. I would choose one because they are really strong and it could give me rides to school on its back. Plus, nobody would think about trying to teepee my house with a dragon sleeping right next to it.
Author's Note:
That's the third Frost Dragon selection in one day. Incredible! However, the name Moe is very cool.
Name: Grace
If I could have any Bounder Faerie, I would pick a dragon. Small, but big enough for me to ride on.I won't let anyone hurt it.It won't let anyone hurt me. it's razor sharp teeth and razor sharp claws will make people think two times before messing with us. When I see a dragon book, I buy it.
Author's Note:
Wow. We're on quite a roll with dragons here. No wonder Eragon is so popular. Maybe we should have called the series the "Grey Dragons".

PICTURED: Domestic Wind Dragon drawn by Coby M.
Name: Coby M.
My Bounder Faerie's name is Emeralda and she is a Domestic Wind Dragon. Emeralda is about the size of a car. She has bright green scales and crystal blue eyes. Her behavior is like that of a cat or dog. She is very sweet, but shy around strangers.
Author's Note:
A very unique and wonderful choice of dragon.
Name: William T.
My Bounder would be a Valkyrie named Laurana. She would have super strength, flight, a powerfullightning battle axe, and invisibility.
Author's Note:
We wouldn't want to run into Laurana in a dark alley!
Name: Connor A.
My Bounder Faerie would either be a Spriggan or a Doppelganger.
Author's Note:
Shapeshifters are definitely amazing creatures.
